We would like to inform all users that the SS36 has been fully reopened to traffic. From today, 6 August, all bus services between Chiavenna and Splügen will therefore resume as normal.
Work on the Teggiate tunnel will continue from 31 August to 4 September 2026.
During this period, there will be restrictions on services on the STPS route between Chiavenna and Splügen.
Specifically, the 7.45 and 14.45 services, departing from Chiavenna, will only run as far as Madesimo. They will not continue to Splügen (no connection to Thusis).
The 16.45 bus will run as normal to Splügen.
There will also be changes to services departing from Splügen.
The road is scheduled to be closed between 8.30 and 11.30 and between 14.00 and 17.30.
